About this item

A fixed camera for a porch, a driveway or a shed wall. It joins your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, shows live video on your phone through its app and sends an alert when it sees movement. The housing is rated IP65 against rain and dust, and infrared lights give a black-and-white picture in the dark.

It needs a power socket within five metres and a good Wi-Fi signal where it is mounted. Recordings go to a microSD card (not included).

    Easy to set up: plug in, scan the code in the app and it joined my 2.4 GHz network in a few minutes. The picture is sharp in daylight and the night view shows the whole drive. Alerts come quickly. I mounted it under the eaves.

    I wanted a camera for the back door. It feels well built, the bracket is metal and adjusts easily. At night the picture is black and white but clear enough to see a face at about 10 metres. Recording to my own microSD card works; remember the card is not included.

    Good camera. I had to move the router closer because the Wi-Fi signal was weak at the garage, but once it connected it has been stable. The instructions could say more clearly that it needs 2.4 GHz.
